Christmas?

I never thought Christmas could be so special.
Headachy, fetal-positioned Christmas it was.
Yep, crappy Christmas.
It was below zero in parts of the U.S.
But I was cooking at 39 degrees centigrade.
Absolutely horrible Christmas.
But one thing I sure did learn: Food's precious!
Especially when they stuff you with sweet potatoes for five straight days.
Especially when they say rice inhibits recovery.
I miss zi char!
Come back, good food!

Some weird stuff...

What's new? Well, I'l tell you what's new. First and foremost, the guys out there are finishing their O levels.

Next, if you see the video on top, well, let me explain. This strange guy (don't know who his name is) created a parody called Visit Singapore - The Parody. It's available on YouTube and even imeem, I hear. Just got this link a few minutes ago, so you might want to check this video out. Contains references to the Merlion, dairy farms, RK House and... You-Know-What...

Newss!

Good news - My Hotmail worked. Again.
Better news - Received invitation from MindChamps to assist.
Best news - I think I'm available!

Bad news - John and Ben have messy lives. So God help them.
Worse news - I worry for myself too.
Worst news - Some of my poor pals have to retain on Sec 3...

John, JJ, Ben, when do you guys plan to Assist. Tell me so we all can arrange. Cheers.

Post exam thoughts...

Okay, it's not post exam for everybody...
Ben, John, Wee Tong and others... hang on a bit...
You know how frustrating this phenomenon is?
It's like when its exam time, you get stressed and complain of the relentless jabbing of the pen on your papers...
And when it's over, you get stressed all over again because you don't know what to do to stop that restless imp in you...
And that's what I've been going through...
So I thought I'd just join and watch some TVB serials... my favourite...
Problem is, they're a tad old, dating back to 2004... ho hum...
Wong Fei Hung - Master Of Kungfu...
Man, if I could watch Under The Canopy Of Love all over again...
Never mind, I'll just get downstairs and rent a whoe collection.
The problem is, while I've been typing all this while, my bum's sore.
So now I'm having problems walking...
Warrgh... Just watch YouTube videos...

Help a Friend...

Guys, if you have the time, do leave notes of encouragement to John on his blog. He's going through one of the most stressful phases of life.
If you have the time, please do so.
Little bits of motivation can go a long way in helping our friend.

Life, just like an LRT... fast or slow?

S-L-O-W

I think that should be the word to describe myself for now. Just managed to pull up the "drawing paper" for a Friendster account, so those of you who want to spam me, just go ahead.

Watching the keyboard...

Took me quite a while to post this one up...
Our gay friend (branded by some kids)
told me to write.
So, while he's reeling from the shock of being called homosexual, let me continue.
'Cos there were lots of stories here and there about a group of gays in Young Champions.
And while you're watching this space, here are some little known facts, adapted from Ben,

  1. No, I'm not trying to remix the National Anthem.
  2. No, I'm not buying Namewee's album...
  3. I condemn racism
  4. ...and sedition! But sometimes, I let go a bit...
  5. I'm stuck in Singapore for as long as we all know
  6. I'm now reminiscing the old days when we sat for our core program...
  7. I miss going "EH?" with Ben and Jie Ji, even though it has only been a few months since we did that...
  8. I fear being branded "gay" or "tranny" if I turn up for the next Empower U, with Audrey inside! Oh Lord... the Horrors!
  9. 麻坡的华语 still rings in my head... heheh, no, not the dirty version...
  10. I'm ready to remix songs, with Ben's crazy sounds and John's disappointed *Grrroans*...

PAYBACK TIME! WRITE!
Audrey
Stephan
Um... no more liao... but then... WRITE!

Mai Hum Mai Hum... Mai Hum Mai Hum Mai Hum...

This was years ago, but yesterday, this fad got resurrected, apparently by some fans of Campus Superstar Shawn Tok. We know him as the cute boy who sings in a high-pitched tone, but hey, how many kids like him can do that?

But anyway...

They were down to the final five.
Zhengning, Keely, Benjamin and Shawn.
But that's like... four!
Five, including me, sitting on the couch, gorging down on chips.

When the TV was on, Zhengning was already singing.
And oh boy, did I pity that girl.

Emotions? Out.
Pitch-perfect? That's a no-no.

But you know, when you're doing your rendition first, others will capitalise on your mistakes and hit back. Ouch.

Zhengning could have said that.

But Keely did much better.

And I could have chosen to vote for her than watch Engelbert Humperdinck in concert.

But I so wanted to see how Shawn fared.

Alamak!

You could see how pale poor Shawn looked. Either that, or it was due to too much makeup.

Forgetting lyrics, becoming too tense.

He could have said to himself "1,2,3 YES! 1,2,3 YES! 1,2,3 YES!"

Problem is he did't know what he didn't know that is, Empower U.

But anyway, I doubt that he would want to go to Empower U.

Because, when it comes to the hugs, the Assist Team and his fans from MindChamps would be crowding around him and trying to "touch the Deity of Fortune".

Jokes aside.

Benjamin Hum stepped up, but he didn't look "hum ji".
He was calm.

Dude, did you meditate before the show?

So he gave his rendition.

Boy, did he capitalise on Shawn's mistakes.

Next, it was up to dancing.

Don't expect too much, you're not watching Shakira...
